The big, big winner this year is Dole Middle School’s principal Myron Monte. He has received the coveted Island Insurance Foundation’s Fifth Annual Masayuki Tokioka "Excellence in School" Leadership Award. Principal Monte will take back to school $10,000 in cash as well as $15,000 towards a school project of his choice.
