Kohala High School Golf Tournament
KaMilo at Mauna Lani, was a hub of activity on November 16th when it hosted the awards ceremony and silent auction for a golf tournament / silent auction to benefit Kohala High School students participating in CLOSE UP, civic awareness program in Washington D.C., as well as, students participating in a cultural awareness and language emersion program in Costa Rica.
The golf tournament was held at the Mauna Lani North Golf Course and was a great opportunity to help deserving students at Kohala High School experience another part of the world and broaden their educational and cultural horizons.
During and after the tournament, players, guests and students had a chance to tour four model homes at the KaMilo neighborhood. They also enjoyed the recently-opened, two-acre recreation center, featuring two pool and hot tub areas, gathering pavilion, a great lawn, exercise hale, yoga lawn, and sun deck.
